Cox Pools designs and builds the full backyard, outdoor kitchens and bars, covered lanais, fire features, lounge spaces, and paver decking, so every element is planned together and installed by one crew without coordinating four separate contractors.
Our in-house paver decking team ties the pool surround directly into the outdoor living layout. Gas lines, electrical, and plumbing for outdoor kitchens run alongside the pool mechanicals during the same dig. The result is a space that feels intentional, because it was designed that way from the beginning.

Outdoor Kitchens & Bars
Built-in grills, countertop bars, refrigeration, sinks, and stone or tile cladding. Gas and plumbing roughed in during pool construction so there is no tearing up finished decking to run lines later.
Fire Features & Lounge Spaces
Linear fire pits, fire bowls, sunken seating areas with built-in benches, and LED accent lighting integrated into the paver deck. These are not afterthoughts, they are part of the original layout.
Covered Lanais & Pavilions
Shade structures with tongue-and-groove wood ceilings, recessed lighting, ceiling fans, outdoor televisions, and seating areas built to Northwest Florida's wind and moisture standards.
Paver Decking & Pool Surrounds
Travertine, porcelain, brick, and natural stone installed by our in-house crew. The deck layout is designed around the pool shape and the outdoor living zones so the whole yard reads as one connected space.

Do you build outdoor kitchens and living spaces without a pool?
Yes. We build standalone outdoor kitchens, covered lanais, fire features, and paver patios for properties that already have a pool or no pool at all. The integration benefit is greatest on new builds, but it is not a requirement to work with us on outdoor living.
What does an outdoor kitchen typically include?
The scope varies by project, but most outdoor kitchens we build include a built-in grill, countertop bar with seating, a sink, under-counter refrigeration, and stone or tile cladding on the cabinetry. Gas lines, plumbing, and electrical are all roughed in by our crews during the same phase as pool mechanicals when built together.
Can you add an outdoor kitchen to an existing pool deck?
Yes. We design and build outdoor kitchens as additions to existing properties. The main difference from new construction is that utility lines have to be run through or under existing hardscape, which adds some cost and complexity. We assess the site before scoping so you know exactly what that looks like before signing anything.
What fire feature options are available?
We build linear fire pits, fire bowls, fire and water features like fire bowls over pool edges, and gas-connected fire tables. All are run off a dedicated gas line installed during construction. We handle the gas line routing, so you are not coordinating a separate plumber after everything else is finished.
What paver materials do you offer for outdoor living decks?
Travertine, porcelain, natural stone, and brick pavers. Our in-house paver crew handles installation, so the deck around the pool and the patio area adjacent to the outdoor kitchen are set by the same team on the same schedule. You can see material samples in person at our Panama City Beach showroom.
Can I finance an outdoor living project?
Yes. Outdoor kitchens, paver decking, covered structures, and fire features all qualify through our third-party lending partners, whether bundled with a new pool or as a standalone project. Ask about financing at the design consultation and we will walk through your options before we scope the work.
Who handles warranty service on the outdoor living elements?
Cox Pools handles warranty service on everything we build. One call to 850.234.7800 ext. 231 covers the pool, the deck, the outdoor kitchen, and the fire features. You are not chasing down separate contractors for separate elements.
